1) Don’t rely on overused adjectives to describe who you are.
If I had a nickel for every time someone wrote, “I am trustworthy, down-to-earth and laid-back” in their profile, I’d be rich enough to buy everyone I know an Angelina-Jolie-plastic-surgery makeover (not that I the need the help of course).
